Automated blogging needs an editorial workflow
AI can help prepare and publish articles. Useful pages still need a distinct purpose, accurate information and a reason for a reader to trust them. This is a suggested review process, not a promise of rankings or a customer success story.
1. Choose a question that deserves its own page
Start with a question from a customer or a real task your product supports. Check your existing articles before adding another title. If two pages would give substantially the same answer, improve the existing page instead of creating another version with a slightly different keyword.
2. Give the draft verified product facts
Prepare the supported features, limitations, current documentation and intended audience. Separate what the product actually does from general advice. A generated paragraph should never turn an illustrative example into a customer testimonial or invent a price, integration or measured result.
3. Review a concrete example before publishing
For example, a clothing-photo article could explain how to photograph a garment, choose a presentation, inspect seams and logos, then export the reviewed image. A separate background guide should solve a different problem. Keep both grounded in the same verified product capabilities.
- Try the instructions against the current product.
- Use your own screenshots or media you have permission to publish.
- Check any numbers, comparisons and citations at their original source.
- Read each translation in context; do not leave English paragraphs under a translated heading.
- Link to the next useful guide or product action with a descriptive label.
4. Check the published page
Open its public URL on a phone. Check the title, images, links and the page selected as canonical. Confirm that the URL is accessible without signing in and that an accidental noindex directive does not hide an article you want discovered. A sitemap helps discovery; submitting one does not guarantee indexing.
5. Measure outcomes and revise
Compare search impressions and clicks over complete periods in Search Console. Then look at relevant product actions, such as a registration or trial. A growing article count alone is not evidence of business value. Review pages that overlap before commissioning more content.
Budget for publishing and review
Check the current plan inclusions and limits on the pricing section. Budget separately for subject-matter review, original media and revisions. Do not treat generated volume as guaranteed traffic or assume that publishing replaces editorial work.
